November 14-15, 2007	NASTT Calgary (North American Society for Trenchless Technology) This conference was held in Calgary, Alberta in November of last year. Delegates had the opportunity to participate in 'short-courses' and a day-long conference, as well as take a look through various exhibitor presentations and listen to keynote speakers.
November 2, 2007	Sir Edmund Hillary Foundation: Gala Dinner & Auction Our extraordinary guest speakers at this event were: Appa Sherpa - Seventeen time Summiteer and Everest record holder; Ed Viesturs - Mountaineering Legend, Six time Everest Summiteer, "Everest IMAX" movie and "Into Thin Air" fame; Ang Dorje Sherpa - Eleven time Everest Summiteer and "Into Thin Air" fame; Peter Hillary - Everest Summiteer and son of Sir Edmund Hillary; and Laurie Skreslet - the first Canadian to summit Mount Everest.
May 8-12, 2007	WWW2007 The World Wide Web Conferences are annual international conferences on web technology. The 2007 conference was held in Banff, Alberta and saw close to 1,000 people attend with over 42 countries represented. May 6-7, 2005	Leading with Purpose, Vision and Values A senior-level leadership development session with Brian Bacon The Alberta Cancer Board, through its Leadership Development Initiative, hosted Brian Bacon, President & Founder of the Oxford Leadership Academy, for a 2-day workshop on values-based leadership and strategic management, geared towards human resource professionals and executive-level managers.
June 29-July 3, 2003	Brain03 This international medical congress in Calgary brought together nearly 700 scientists, surgeons and medical doctors from more than 30 countries. All are doing basic research on brain blood flow and metabolism, research relevant to diseases such as ALS, Parkinson's, MS, stroke, epilepsy and migraine, among others.
